Wood base, UNITED hallmark on face of clock.1959 Vintage United Electric Clock Company model #454 motion lighted Aquarium. This clock runs good, quiet, keeps accurate time. The fish barrel at the bottom rotates, and the light inside the green inner drum turns on/off by the push-button switch at the back. The wood case all in original finish in nice condition. Round convex glass dial lens is good, no cracks nor scratches, clean too. The brass-tone bezel has some wear and tarnish. The dial face is clean, no wear, no fading. The center red jewel turns as a sweep second hand would. Black numbers and hands. The knob at the back pulls outward and turns counterclockwise to advance the time.
